What are Culinary vacations?
Culinary vacation are itineraries lasting from 3 up to 15 days. The culinary vacation always includes overnight stay and activities based mainly on food and wine, but also on art and history.
Is transportation included?
Transportation is always provided during the culinary vacations and for each included activities. However, you may need to reach the meeting point indepentently at the beginning of your vacation. You will find a detailed list of what is included and what is not included in the "Itinerary" section of the product page.
Where will I sleep?
The culinary vacation hotels are generally 4-star hotels or higher. The category is always specified in the description (please, always read it carefully before purchasing).The hotel contacts are provided after booking. For more information or requests, you can contact us here.
Are culinary vacations group trips?
By purchasing a culinary vacation, you will travel in small groups of food and wine lovers. It is possible to request a culinary vacation just for you and / or your family and / or your friends or make your trip exclusive by clicking here.
Do you guarantee the departure for every vacation?
It depends on the type of experience. If departure is guaranteed, the reservation is immediately confirmed. In some cases it may be necessary to reach a minimum number of participants to confirm the departure. If the minimum number is not reached, it is possible to carry out the holiday in private mode with a small additional charge or get a refund.
How big is the group?
The maximum number of participants varies according to the type of experience and the city in which it takes place. Since we prefer an intimate and cozy atmosphere and to ensure the highest quality, we only work with small groups that generally never exceed 12 people. If you want to enjoy the experience only for you and your family or your friends, you can choose "Private" option on the product calendar or request it here.
Are Culinary vacations children-friendly?
We designed culinary vacations specifically thought for families with children (check it here) that include activities dedicated to children while their parents are busy in tasting experiences or in activiries where children are not allowed.
Are there alternatives for specific dietary restrictions?
We offer alternatives for all types of dietary restrictions (vegetarians, vegans, gluten, lactose intolerants, etc). You will be asked to inform us about your dietary restriction at time of booking. Will the vacation still take place in case of strike/terrorist attack/ act of god etc?
Your safety is our most important priority and we will never jeopardize it. In case we are informed of any situation that may be a threat to your safety, we will do our best to get in touch with you and inform you that the food tour is canceled. In that case, we will offer you the possibility of rescheduling, to deviate the itinerary, receive a voucher for a future tour or a full refund.
Are the experiences wheelchair/stroller friendly?

We always provide free time for shopping during culinary vacations.

I would like to change something of the proposed itinerary, is it possible?
It is possible to customize the itinerary only for private vacation.
Are there any extras available?
We offer extras such as travel insurance and transportation. Their availablility depends on the experience you choose. Before you complete your reservation, you will be able to select extra services and have further details.
Is travel insurance included?
Travel insurance is NOT included but it can be purchased as an extra service.

I lost my group, what can I do?
We always recommend staying close to the group and not leaving it for any reason. In case it happens, you can call the emergency number that is provided at time of booking.
Is it necessary to print the confirmation email/booking?
You won’t be asked to show any confirmation email or voucher. It may be necessary to print the boarding pass or other documents (permits, tickets, etc.) depending on the itinerary. After purchasing you will receive specific instructions on what to print.
