When in Rome, eat as the Romans do!
The Food Tour starts with a glass/cup of Prosecco in one of the finest wineries of Rome. Here you can discover the Italian wine tradition in a unique location that offers more than 1500 lables coming from all over Italy. Moving to the core of Monti, you can taste the famous pizza bianca and the king of Roman Street Food: supplì! Walking down the streets of the district – with fascinating views of the Colosseum – you can reach the local market. The main dish of our menu is the freshest home-made pasta of the city. You can enjoy it in a recipe revisited by a Michelin Star chef and paired with a specifically selected wine. These are just few samples of our itinerant lunch to explore the best food and wines of the Roman tradition. The culinary experience ends with a sweet note visiting an Italian gelateria where the genuine flavours of the nature are transformed in creamy gelato.

This was one of my best days in Rome! It was such a pleasure learning about traditional Roman foods/drinks all while enjoying it at some of the best cafes and bistros. Valerio did an amazing job discussing all the details, and everything was perfectly choreographed with no waiting at any of the stops. This was my third trip to Rome and next time I will definitely do this tour again!

I was a bit skeptical when a booked this walking tour but I have to admit that i would reccomend it to any passionate food lover! If I was doing it by myself i would never tasted so many nice things simply because i didn`t know them. I have also learned a lot, our guid was very good and genuine. Probably his english was not fantastic but he made the point and the atmosphere he created was just fun! Simply... I have loved it!!!
