Strolling and eating with friends in Florence
The walk begins in the Sant’Ambrogio neighborhood, in the heart of the city and away from the tourist crowds, with a tasting of local wine and finger food in one of the most exclusive wine bars of the district.
During the stroll there are tastings of local cheeses and Tuscan cold cuts, such as finocchiona, combined with a glass of local wine. With the Food Ambassador, a local guide and food and wine expert , you reach a family-run restaurant where hospitality is the secret ingredient of every dish.
Here the tasting includes the tasting of a plate of fresh pasta rigorously handmade with condiments of your choice, all combined with first choice wine.
The walk ends with a sweet note and enhanced by a glass of sparkling wine or a Tuscan liqueur.

I had the food tour at the beginning of my trip with my friends. Our food ambassador was amazing, he was very knowledgable and he tells us a lot of stories about Italian culinary traditions! Highly recommend!
We highly recommend this tour! We were taken to places that definitely felt "off the beaten path"...hidden gems where we were treated as VIPs and never would have stumbled upon them on our own. We enjoyed delicious food and wine. Wonderful experience from start to finish.
Food and culture are very much intermingled, this tour provided a wonderful experience exposing you to some great foods in an area that was not full of tourist which gave you a much more authentic experience. You also walk off some of the calories so come prepared and wear comfortable walking shoes.
Lucia was great- After meeting we set out to several restaurants in several locations for different courses at each. Started with an appetizer and a glass of wine and some wine education. As we navigated through Florence she told us the history and other interesting tidbits about art, sculpture, and Florentine local life. Arrive hungry and you won’t be disappointed.
